SPECIAL EVENTS

As a non-profit charitable organization, the Children's Advocacy Center supplements individual donations and grant funds necessary to sustain its services with three major fund raising events annually.  These are the Annual Charity Ball held typically the beginning of February, Golf Fore the Kids held in early summer and Endless Summer Party held late August.  Tickets for these fun and rewarding events may be purchased here.

ENDLESS SUMMER (August 28, 2010)


This event features great music, buffet barbeque dinner, unique raffle items and dancing.  The entertainment for Endless Summer is provided by the perrenial favorite band, Johnny Limbo & the Lugnuts.  This year the event will be held at Chinook Winds Casino, Lincoln City, 6-10 PM August 28.

 

Ticket price is $35 which includes barbeque dinner, concert, dancing, and raffle.  Each attendee will also receive a $5 "Sand Dollar" for use in the Casino.  This great, fun event will sell-out quickly!

Annual Charity Ball (Early February, 2011)

 

This great fun event features top entertainment, an abundant variety of foods prepared by local chefs, wine at each table, an open bar, both a silent and live auction and dancing until you drop.  It is well attended and tickets go quickly.  The 2010 Charity Ball was held Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Best Western Agate Beach Hotel in Newport, featuring the repeat great performance of The Swingline Cubs band.  Sponsorships  and ticket prices will be posted in November, 2010.

 

Family Fun Day 

 The Family Fun day was held April, 2011         

 

Each April the Children’s Advocacy Center invites the community to join in the fun at our annual Family Fun Day at the Center.  This event is free of charge and provides an opportunity for individuals to view the facility while participating in child-friendly activities in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month.  This year activities included miniature pony carosel rides and a prize walk, among many others. 

Bicycles & scooters were raffled and bike helmets were fitted for attendees.

GOLF FORE THE KIDS 

 

The  "Golf Fore the Kids" tournament was held at the Olalla Valley Golf course On June 19, 2010.  This 9 hole scramble included lunch and raffle following the tournament.  This major fundraiser supports direct services provided at the Center.  A special thank you to our sponsors:
